60 years.
Starting out as butchers, the family's enduring passion for quality and customer service is still evident in
the third generation members that serve Federated Meats today, alongside an expert team that has grown
substantially over the past 6 decades.
For us, sourcing meat and going the extra mile to ensure that we exceed our clients' expectations is not

Our energy-efficient Cold Storage facility, Ayoba Coldstore, is an award- winning bulk freezer storage facility,
operating 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Located just 7kms from the port, and able to store 9 000 Metric Tonnes of product, this state-of-the-art facility
is serviced by an expert operations team who ensure that turnaround times are kept to the absolute minimum.
The logistics and distribution wing of Federated Meats, Ayoba Logistics, utilises an in-house fleet to transport containers from the wharf to cold storage, and finally to factories, via the highest possible standards.
Efficiency is the watchword for all operations at Ayoba - giving Federated Meats the ability to transport and
store your products optimally.
